Intek Plastics in Hastings has posted a full-time Toolmaker Apprentice opening for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who wants hands-on training in manufacturing and toolroom operations. According to the job post, the apprentice will enroll in a one-year Machine/Tool Processes program through Dunwoody College, with tuition fully sponsored by Intek Plastics. While completing coursework, the apprentice will work 1st shift alongside experienced toolmakers for job shadowing and mentorship. After successful completion of the schooling program, the role transitions into an off-shift Toolmaker position supporting ongoing toolroom operations. Qualifications include a high school diploma, ability to take classes and work toward an AAS degree in Tool & Die, basic math and organizational skills, reliable attendance, and a strong safety mindset.
